The Particol Generator creates un-stabilised particol by diluting sodium silicate with water and pH neutralised with carbon dioxide. This produces an activated silica in the form of a micro-gel, which is further diluted to 1.0 ~ 0.9% silica after 4 minutes in a reaction hose. The solution is then transferred to a final product tank for stabilisation.
A control panel at the front of the Generator features a convenient touch screen and an industrial computer, which allows all set points, variables and process alarms to be displayed, monitored and altered. The panel also comprises a manual start/stop switch, an emergency stop switch and an alarm system that incorporates an audible signal and a flashing red light.
A programmable logic controller (PLC) controls all the critical processes via analog and digital communications systems located inside an electrical panel. All pumps are controlled by variable frequency electrical drives that enable the Generator to operate on a range of voltage systems: 380/415/440/230 volts.
Our Generators are designed with a stainless-steel double-door control, an Alan Bradley PLC and an industrial computer for data logging and monitoring. They are also available in compact versions that adhere to the same operating principles – from silicate dilution and pH neutralization with CO2, to aging, final dilution and acid stabilisation.
